secondary school student commits suicide over boyfriend in benue state

A Junior Secondary School (JSS) 2 student of Gyegeh Memorial College, Makurdi, Benue stater, recently identified as Jessica Beer, has allegedly committed suicide. According to close sources, Jessica committed suicide after her boyfriend simply identified as Labi, a pork meat seller at Wurukum Market in Makurdi the state capital, impregnated and abandoned her and then impregnated another girl whise name is still unknown.

Jessica was so devastated that she drank a poisonous substance and was rushed to a hospital in Akpehe where doctors confirmed her death on arrival.
